Akpabio charges Muslims

The GOVERNOR of Akwa Ibom State, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio, has urged Muslims today to learn from the virtues of the lessons and teachings of the life of the Holy Prophet and eschew from their lives everything that is against the path of peace as reflected in Islam.

Akpabio who spoke while extending warm greetings to all Muslims on the Eid el Kabir celebrations, urged them to pray that the mercies of the Almighty as reflected in the message of Islam shall be strengthened in the hearts of all Moslems and give them peace in all their efforts.

He urged Nigerians of all faiths to join Muslims in this season to pray for the peace of the country and the success of the present administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.
