Sources say barring last minute behind-the-scene manoeuvring the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly (AKSHA) has set the tools in place to impeach the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Nsima Ekere, as early as Thursday, November 1, 2012.
Tipped-off on the possibility of impeachment, Nsima Ekere tendered a letter of resignation earlier today, as was posted in the social media by his Press Secretary, Mr. Isong (Please read, above, Mr. Isong's Press Release).
We are presently investigating on the root reasons that led to the resignation of Mr. Nsima Ekere. As soon as enough facts are gathered, it will be shared with everyone. Until then, stay tuned.
